Built as a showcase for the 1995 NAMM Trade Show, this stunning Collings 00042 represents an almost 'new vintage' guitar. Built with the finest Sitka Spruce and Indian Rosewood available to Collings, with genuine Honduran Mahogany neck and jet black ebony fingerboard and bridge, it is a truly stellar guitar. This one has been 'dressed to impress', with full 42 style inlays in green paua shell, done to Collings usual superlative standard of quality. It sounds amazing too, having seen light usage in the studio of a professional artist, it's played in, with a rich, full tone, usually associated with the best of vintage guitars. They don't come along like this often......
