Neville Marten's Collings Testamonial
"I always try to call in to see Walter whenever I'm near Nottingham. It's a great shop, full of fabulous acoustics, and Walter's a fascinating and knowledgable chap. Indeed, through the combination of a Collings clinic held by Dave Mann Music in 2012, my long friendship with Collings distributor Doug Chandler and a passing visit to see Walter, I'm now the proud owner of a fabulous slot-head 000-42. It's a monster! Many thanks to Walter, to Doug and to everyone at Collings!"

Unbelivably rare guitar from Collings, one of the first ever guitars with Honduran Rosewood back and sides. Honduran Rosewood is prized for its density and tensile strenght, which are virtually identical to Brazilian Rosewood. We've been able to secure one of very few sets Collings Guitars had available, and paired it with a fantastic German Spruce top with Adirondack Bracing. The result is probably the best sounding Collings OM we've seen, with a tone that compares with pre war vintage guitars we've tried along side it. Please call us for more details on this stunning guitar!
