Built as an experiment, hence it's 'X' designation, this is a fantastic sounding guitar from George Lowden. This is the first guitar Lowden have made using the exotic African tonewood, Bubinga. Bubinga is from the Rosewood family, and has a deep, rich yet sparkling tonality to match its red hue. George Lowden was ecstatic with the result, as was Thomas Leeb, who is currently looking to have a guitar made of the same timber. Paired with a Sitka Spruce top, and in the classic Lowden 'O' body shape, it has a huge, veluptuous sound which lends itself to any type of music. A great opportunity to own this first of a kind guitar!
