The wood combination is unique to Taylor Guitars, with Sitka Spruce for top and Ovangkol for the back and sides. Ovangkol is similar to Rosewood, offering a deep, piano like bass and sparkling highs, combined with the spruce this offers a very wide range of tones, suitable for any genre of music.
